'Woke Royalty Exorbitant Netflix Clusterf---': Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'Under Pressure' From Streamer to 'Manifest a Hit' Before Deal Expires
The heat is on for Prince Harry, 40, and Meghan Markle, 43, to give Netflix a hit.
"Fact is Harry and Meghan were paid an exorbitant amount of money by Netflix and have little to show for it," a source stated. "Whether they admit it or not, the pressure is on for the Sussexes to deliver a hit."
The source said the duo "are frustrated that POLO didn’t generate much enthusiasm."
"This was his (Harry's) pet project," they shared. "He’s passionate about the subject and is disappointed others failed to see its significance."
Meghan is next up in the driver's seat with the streaming giant as With Love, Meghan is set to drop on January 15. Prospective viewers don't seem too pleased with what she has to offer based on the show's trailer.
"Let me guess, another woke royalty exorbitant Netflix clusterf--- from two of the fakest human beings one could possibly imagine," a disgruntled X commenter quipped. "I am sure the budget for this shiny garbage could have housed a swarm of homeless people for who knows how long."
It didn't stop there.
As the reluctant HRH plans to "reimagine the genre of lifestyle programming," the ex-actress' "tone deaf, woke Hollywood smorgasbord of dullness" is reportedly the "grand finale" of the duo's controversial deal with the streamer," one Sussex critic said.
"I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it," the Duchess wrote on her new Instagram. "Wishing you all a fantastic new year! Thanks to our amazing crew and the team @netflix. Beyond grateful for the support — and fun! As ever, Meghan."
No comments can be made on the new account — her first in nearly seven years — in what one analyst described as "a move to totally silence the trolls right out of the gate."
Their Royal Highnesses are set to potentially close out their Netflix career with just one hit out of four documentaries before the drop of With Love, Meghan, that being 2022's sensationalistic Harry & Meghan.
In other Sussex news, nearly five years to the day after "Megxit," reports claim that Harry's wish for a royal reunion was "destroyed" by the Duchess of Sussex in early 2024.
Royal expert Tom Quinn revealed the Duchess' veto came after her husband allegedly wanted to return to Britain to "help out" King Charles III in a part-time capacity after his cancer diagnosis last February.
"Harry knows he will never be allowed to be a permanent part-time working royal staying six months in the States and then six months in the U.K." he said. "The family no longer trust him and, besides, Meghan is absolutely against it. There is far too much bad blood now for it to be even a remote possibility."
Hindustan Times reported on the insider revelations.
