Silent Shade: Sarah Ferguson Snubs Prince Andrew in Statement While Praising Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie Amid Health Crisis
Sarah Ferguson turned on the shade while giving an update on her health to a publication. Amid the thanks and praise for her daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, a shout-out to Prince Andrew was nowhere to be found.
The Duchess of York revealed that her b----- cancer was no longer a concern and that her battle with skin cancer announced in January resulted in the removal of the malignant melanoma and nearby cancer skin cells.
The ex-HRH revealed, "I've been told by my physicians that I shouldn’t use the phrase 'cancer free,' but treatment has been successful and tests show there has been no spread or recurrence. I'm reconciled to the fact that I will have to have checks for the rest of my life. I’m now determined to do whatever I can to raise awareness by sharing my experience."
Ferguson and the Duke of York divorced in 1996 but have maintained a friendship ever since. Fergie even moved into Andrew's Royal Lodge estate in 2008 where she lives to this date.
She continued, "With the love and support of my family, especially my girls Beatrice and Eugenie, I have stayed positive and been informed that my outlook is good."
This follows recent reports that suggested Andrew and Fergie were not at all pleased with how the Duke of York and their children were portrayed in Amazon's A Very Royal Scandal.
A source close to the York family spilled, "Andrew and Sarah are deeply disappointed by the entire family's portrayal in the series. Recollections may vary is an understatement to describe what has been portrayed from behind the scenes of the interview."
"There are some instances where there hasn't been a fair representation of what actually happened while other scenarios don't ring any bells at all," they added.
The three-part program explores the lead-up to and fallout from the disgraced Duke's November 2019 interview with journalist Emily Maitlis. In the "trainwreck" of a discussion, the prince, then 59, spoke openly about the sexual assault allegations leveled against him by Virginia Roberts thanks to Maitlis' "relentless probing." The exchange led to the late Queen Elizabeth II banishing Andrew from public life and eventually stripping his military honors.
In other news, Ferguson is said to be "ensuring she is ready for the worst case scenario" when it comes to the explosive battle over the Royal Lodge between her ex and King Charles III.
Having lived in the 30-room mansion with her ex-husband since 2008, Fergie reportedly "has no intention" of moving into her luxurious, secondary $5.7 million dollar London townhome — she will collect rent on it instead "Airbnb style," as one X commenter described it.
GBN reported on Fergie's statement.
