A Sussex-York Secret Rendezvous: Sarah Ferguson Touched Down in NYC Amid Reports of 'Meeting' With Beatrice and Eugenie's Cousin Prince Harry
Sarah Ferguson, who is Prince Harry's ex-aunt, is in NYC to attend engagements for Climate Week, which also finds her ex-nephew in the Big Apple for the same good cause.
If reports are to be believed, the fiery-haired royal rebels could be set to meet for "secret talks" thanks to Harry's close friendship with his cousins, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.
On her Instagram, the former HRH shared, "I have the pleasure of being in New York for this year’s Climate Week and want to bring you behind the scenes! It was so inspiring to meet so many motivated young people who are looking to make the future a much more positive place to be. Can’t wait for day 2!"
Although not much is known about any type of familial relationship between Fergie and Harry, both royals can certainly relate to what it is like to "cause a ruckus" and live a life outside palace walls.
Speaking about Ferguson and her recent battles with both b----- and skin cancer, a source shared, "Sarah is in a really good position right now. Thankfully, her health seems to be getting better and she seems to have worked her way into the good graces of the royal family."
They added, "And, since she’s always been warm and kind towards the Sussexes, even if she has said occasional things about them that they’d rather she didn’t, they’re now looking to her as someone that can help them break down some barriers."
A third British royal is also out and about in New York this week with Prince William also attending engagements for Climate Week. Unlike Fergie, a meeting with the heir to the British throne is likely not one the Montecito Duke would consider.
Royal correspondent Cameron Walker reported, "This is all happening at the same time that Prince William has an event in New York as well because tomorrow it's the Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit. That's Prince William's initiative to come up with solutions to repair the planets within a decade."
The future king showed up in person for the London staging of the awards in March, while Harry decided to appear via secure video link.
As for Fergie, the ex-Duchess is also reportedly "securing her future" in case her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, loses their home the Royal Lodge. The one-time Duchess of York "has installed tenants in the two-bedroom Belgravia property she bought in 2022 — and the rent she is receiving from this means relocating to London from Windsor isn’t part of her game plan,'" an outlet reported.
