Samantha Markle is making it known how her half-sister, Meghan Markle, lied to her daughter, Ashleigh Hale, an attorney, when Hale asked the Duchess-to-be about a 2018 wedding invite.

"It was really surprising to hear that there was a narrative spun that made Ashleigh feel like she was not invited because of something having to do with me," Samantha spilled about the Suits star.

Meghan Markle is 'estranged' from her father, Thomas Markle.

"I heard from a royal insider who knows, that was up to up Meghan, so Meghan lied to my daughter which made my daughter feel begrudging of me," she added.

Meghan married Prince Harry in an acclaimed royal wedding on May 19, 2018, after nearly two years of being together. In the lead-up to the nuptials, a media firestorm erupted over invites to her family members, some of whom were estranged from the British royal-to-be. A "memorable" moment from this early Markle drama was the ex-actress' back-and-forth with her father, Thomas Markle, who suffered health setbacks shortly before the big day.

Before the grand event at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, it came to light that the patriarch had accepted payment to pose for photos ahead of the royal wedding, which led to Thomas falling out of touch with his youngest child.

"For her not to make it right in my opinion is so unbelievably, it's like something Stephen King would write, it is evil," Samantha dished in September 2023. "It is fundamentally evil – there is no other way to slice this apple. You know what? The god---- mirror is going to crack one of these and I feel sorry for you when it does."

None of Meghan Markle's paternal-line relatives were invited to her internationally-viewed wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.

Since this time, the author and counselor have spoken out about her royal sibling, which now includes her daughter's very own revelations. "That is not true, that is a lie," Samantha continued. "I found out that the royals did not say that, Meghan said that. She then lied to my daughter and made my daughter feel like it was something wrong with me that prevented her from going to the wedding."

Hale further added: "I think I said I was hurt on some level, but I understood where it was coming from. To know that it was because of my biological mother that this relationship, that's so important to me, was impacted in that way. I feel like because of her, it was taken away. It's been hard."

The Duchess of Sussex 'has not spoken' to Samantha Markle 'in years.'

In late 2023, during her libel case against the former actress, Samantha said of Meghan: "I think the truth stands on its own, so I’m optimistic and thankful that we have a justice system that gives us the chance to present the facts."

"People change, they have agendas, they have other things influencing their lives, and, you know, it doesn’t change reality," the mental health advocate added.
