The Royal Family Drama Has Helped Prince William & Kate Middleton 'Find Equilibrium In Their Marriage,' Notes Royal Expert
A silver lining?
While Prince Harry's revelations have done serious damage to his relationship with the royal family, the chaos that's ensued has actually strengthened Prince William and Kate Middleton's marriage.
"It seems an unexpected consequence of the family conflict has been to help William and Kate find equilibrium in their own marriage," royal expert Camilla Tominey shared with Stella magazine, according to The Sun. "What started out as an uneven match between a blue-blooded prince and his ‘plus one' has now blossomed into a two-peas-in-a-pod kind of partnership."
While Kate was once on the sidelines, she's played a big role in trying to mend ties between William and Harry.
"If anyone can bring peace to the royals, Kate can. Kate is a brilliant arbiter and peacemaker," her uncle Gary Goldmsith shared. "Every bone in her body is about making friends and doing the best she can ... she's trying to mediate."
Royal expert Katie Nicholl noted that the mom-of-three also helped the brothers play nice when they came face-to-face at Prince Philip's funeral on April 17.
"They were very tense as they walked into that chapel," she noted. "As they came out of it, you could see some tension diffused. And I think that was largely down to the Duchess of Cambridge, who made a point of speaking to Harry and when she did that, you can see them visibly relax."
"[She] played quite an important role in getting the brothers to the point where they were able to engage in a conversation, of course, in front of the world's press," Nicholl added.
The Cambridges strong relationship has been on display over the past few months. In fact, the pair just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary, and last month, they took a trip down memory lane when they visited Scotland, where they first met as college students.
Royal expert Duncan Larcombe also claimed that the pair are thinking of having a fourth child.
"Their children really bring out the best in them. Kate is a natural mother and very doting with children," he explained. "With Kate, despite her focus on her royal duty, her family still come first. I wouldn't be surprised if they decided on another baby."
