One day before Queen Elizabeth announced she would no longer be attending an event, other members of the royal family dressed in all-black to honor those who served in the war.

At the annual Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Charles and more looked like they enjoyed the festivities.

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, who was wearing a black and dress and black tights, brought along a cute black purse for the event.

The next day, the royals kept up with their duties at another outing.

"The Duke and Duchess attended the National Service of Remembrance with members of The Royal Family at the Cenotaph this morning to pay their respect for those who have served and continue to serve our nation.#WeRememberThem #LestWeForget," a caption read.

"The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall joined other members of the Royal Family today at the National Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph," another caption read on Charles and Camilla's social media page. "The annual service pays tribute to all those who have served and sacrificed from Britain and the Commonwealth.The Prince of Wales laid a wreath at the Cenotaph on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, followed by his own. #RemembranceSunday #LestWeForget."

Prior to the November 13 outing, Kate, 39, chatted with others about their pasts.

"It was a true honour to spend time with Colonel Blum and be able to thank him for the sacrifices he made for our country. Speaking to him highlighted again to me why Remembrance is so important, and why we must pay our gratitude to those who fought and died so we could live in peace today. We must keep their stories alive for generations to come," the caption read. "And many congratulations to Emily for receiving her Centenary Remembrance Badge! C. Of course, people loved that Kate is eager to help others learn more.
