The Queen is always seen interacting with others, as she was brought flowers by a fan.
"Queen Máxima opens the MBO year 2021-2022 and gives a speech. The theme of the opening is 'entrepreneurship towards a better future,'" a caption via Instagram read.
"There are more than 60 MBO schools in the Netherlands, which teach a total of more than 500,000 students," the message continued. "Yuverta in Houten will host the meeting this year on behalf of all MBO schools, in which the importance of MBO for a sustainable society is central. It is the fourth time that the new academic year of MBO has been ushered in with an official meeting. During the opening, the generally applicable guidelines to combat the coronavirus will be observed."
The Queen also praised the students in her speech. "Without them, we would have done so much less,” she said.
“An MBO student is someone who can continue to respond flexibly and enterprisingly to changes. And this is not only about knowledge and qualifications, but also about skills," she continued.
"Can you handle unexpected situations? Can you empathize with others? Can you work well together? Can you think of alternative solutions if something doesn't work? Do you see opportunities to do things better? Can you handle money well and bear financial responsibility? Are you creative? All those skills are worth gold, in any job," she said.
Prior to the event, the blonde beauty has certainly kept busy, as she was photographed with her husband, King Willem-Alexander recently.
"King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima attend the festive transfer of the new cultural center Amare in The Hague. The municipality hands it over to the users: the Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT), the Residentie Orkest The Hague and the Royal Conservatoire. After a tour, the Royal Couple attends the festive program including new work by the Residentie Orchestra. Amare is a house for culture, education, events and meetings and is located on the Spuiplein in the center of The Hague. In November 2021, Amare will officially open its doors with a three-day festival program," the caption read.
