The brunette beauty donned a long, blue gown, which she paired with heels.
For her part, Dench wore a white dress — and both ladies made sure to wear their masks, as the COVID-19 pandemic is still prevalent all over the world.
A cute moment! The Queen looked so happy to be talking to the actress.
The Queen also got to mingle with British director Stephen Frears.
This was the first time the Queen was spotted since her grandmother Menchu Álvarez del Valle died at 93 years old.
At the ceremony, Dench was praised for her long career in Hollywood, which began in 1964.
Of course, everyone who attended the event adhered to social distancing guidelines.
The Queen — who always looks so fashionable — wore a matching purse with her dress.
Dench has appeared in several films and is known for playing M in the James Bond flicks. She first appeared in GoldenEye in 1995, and her last appearance was in Spectre in 2015.
“In 1950, it was the first time I was on this island and I fell completely in love with everything that’s in it," Dench stated after getting the award. “And I never imagined that 70 years later, I would be here. I am deeply moved."
Frears — who sported a black suit — also won the Masters of Cinema award.
