Waving to the crowd! The matriarch took a second to pose when she got out of her car.
"Her Majesty the Queen presented the prizes for the II Festival of school short films 'Diversity in Series,' which celebrates its second edition and is committed to the acceptance of diversity in the classroom and the promotion of audiovisual vocations among Secondary, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training students," a message read about the event.
The note continued, "The awards gala has been conducted by the comedian Eva Hache and has been enlivened by the Kubbo company, who have put the rhythm and voice to the event. In addition to the screening of the award-winning short films, there has been a testimonial video, made with the support of the Nadine Foundation, of young creators who are committed to the fact that diversity, one day, does not have to be the object of reflection or a field of struggle, but that it is naturally integrated into the audiovisual production."
While on stage, the Queen made sure to wear her white mask.
"Doña Letizia has been accompanied by the Minister of Health, Carolina Darias; by the president of the FAD Youth Foundation, Ignacio Bayón; and by Netflix's global vice president of content, Bela Bajaria," the message said. "Almost 900 schoolchildren from different educational centers have participated in this edition, presenting 109 short film scripts with stories of diversity."
"Of the scripts presented, there have been five winning teams that have agreed, in addition to a master class with Susana Casares, film director and head of talent training at Netflix Spain-Portugal, to have their works professionally recorded in the hand of the artistic company Lanau," the note read. "The winning scripts have shown some situation or content that reflects a reflection on the importance of diversity, especially those referring to cultural, gender and intergenerational diversity."
