Prince William felt the love from his family on his 39th birthday. So much so, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles sent sweet notes to the dad-of-three on Monday, June 21.
Queen Elizabeth's Twitter account captioned a slew of photos of William. "Wishing The Duke of Cambridge a very Happy Birthday today! #HappyBirthdayHRH," the caption read.
The post featured William and Kate Middleton with Prince Louis and at an event, in addition to two photos of William smiling while in uniform.
Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, also posted a throwback photo of William on his big day.
"Wishing The Duke of Cambridge a very Happy Birthday today! 🎂," they captioned a black-and-white photo of William sitting on Charles' lap, in addition to a photo of Camilla, Charles and William clapping at an event.
Of course, people couldn't get enough of the sweet shout-out. One person wrote, "Lovely. I’m pleased they included Camilla. She always has such a ready warm smile when around William Catherine and the kids," while another added, "Very sweet photos. I love that they also included The Duchess 👏❤️ Happy Birthday, William 🥳."
A third user added, "Happy birthday to HRH Prince William. Wishing him all the best and time for his family ❤️."
William even took to Instagram to write a note to his followers. "Thank you for all the birthday wishes and kind messages 🎂," the message read.
As The Royal Observer previously reported, Kate is pulling out all of the stops for her husband.
"Kate always makes birthdays and celebrations special for William and the children," royal expert Katie Nicholl told OK! magazine. "She's very much like her mother Carole [Middleton] in that respect. She'll be aware that this year has been tough for William and will want both his birthday and Father's Day to be special for him."
"Kate keeps William very grounded and she likes to show how important he is to her and the children," she added. "Especially after everything they've been through this year. It's only brought them closer."
