Princess Leonor Of Spain Attends Several Royal Events With King Felipe VI & Queen Letizia After Returning Home From School — Pics

She's back! Princess Leonor of Spain attended several royal events with her father, King Felipe VI, and mother, Queen Letizia, last week and over the weekend.
First, "Their Majesties the Kings and Their Royal Highnesses the Princess of Asturias and the Infanta Doña Sofía visited Santa María del Puerto (Somiedo) and presented the Award to the Exemplary People of Asturias 2021, for 'embodying the model of mountain town that has known how to adapt to the new times,'" a caption read via Twitter.

The princess event spoke at the event!
"In the Conceichu area, the Royal Family received explanations about the Vaqueira traditions and customs, and then, in the Calecha area, the 2021 Exemplary People of Asturias Award ceremony began with the intervention of the mayor of Somiedo, then, Their Majesties the Kings and Their Royal Highnesses the Princess of Asturias and the Infanta Doña Sofía, presented the Award for the Exemplary People of Asturias 2021 to Azucena Lorences, a neighbor of the municipality, who addressed a few words of thanks," a caption read.
"Doña Leonor, in her speech, pointed out that '...you are the example that it is worthwhile to continue working so that the towns are revitalized and their potential is taken care of. It is very necessary for our society to continue improving...'"
"His Majesty the King, with his words to the residents of Santa María del Puerto, highlighted '...the enterprising, hard-working, hopeful Asturias has here, in Somiedo, the best of examples ... you know very well that life in places Like this, it has not been easy at all: the climate, the distances, the lack of infrastructure can cause many problems. And yet, with your attitude and your character you have not only managed to overcome these difficulties, but you have built a vital community full of the future, respectful of the past but open to the extraordinary changes of today. A life, a way of living, that the youngest, with their permanence in the town and their desire to form their families here and to educate the little ones in the respect and appreciation of rural life, have managed to strengthen and increase. That is why you are exemplary, why today we give you this award ... you can feel very proud of all this...'" another caption read.
The King and Queen's daughters got some time to mingle with the children, who showed them their drawings.
At another event, the princess took the stage once again.

"First of all, congratulations and thank you, as the Princess has told you, for your warm welcome. We were looking forward to this day because we know with how much enthusiasm and care you have prepared it. But also because we are sincerely very grateful that, by coming to give you the Prize for which you have fought so hard, we have the opportunity to know more and better this land and all of you who take care of it with an enormous effort. And because we are happy to share these hours of celebration; happy to know your merits, your achievements, everything that has led you to this unforgettable moment for everyone," the King said.
