Kate, Princess of Wales' uncle Gary Goldsmith, has reportedly been kicked out of the Middleton family, just as he was on the recent installment of Celebrity Big Brother U.K.

"It was no secret that Gary going into the Big Brother house wasn’t a particularly welcomed move," a source told an outlet.

Gary Goldsmith became the first evictee from 'Celebrity Big Brother' in 2024.

"Gary was quite surprised by the reaction to his appearance on the show, especially afterward," they added. "He decided that he had to get away and spend a few months in Ibiza."

"You did say you wanted to show a different side to yourself. Maybe away from the whole royal connection thing, but you did seem to hang loyally on to the Crown Jewels, shall we say, throughout the show," host Will Best asked Goldsmith after he was evicted from the reality show in March.

A video montage of Goldsmith's incessant mentioning of Kate, Prince William, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, played in the background.

Host AJ Odudu then stated: "You seem to be surprised you mentioned the royal family so many times there, Gary."

Kate's uncle replied: "To be fair, people were asking me about it. They didn't know what else I was. What do you do, G? Why are you here, if not for that? People were asking me a lot of questions, specifically about that; they didn't know what else to ask me."

Gary Goldsmith mentioned the Prince and Princess of Wales 'multiple times' while on 'Celebrity Big Brother.'

Goldsmith added: "I did volunteer it a lot. Fair's fair. Yeah, you caught me."

During his brief stay in the house, Goldsmith attacked the character of both Prince Harry and Meghan, but one PR expert claims the businessman's words are falling on deaf ears.

"Because Goldsmith is Kate's uncle, his admonishment of Meghan and Harry, while noteworthy, likely carries very little water in influencing the fate of the duo," public relations analyst Ryan McCormick told an outlet.

"I think Gary exercised poor judgment by making those comments at a time when Kate is recovering and when Harry is trying to reconnect with his family," he added. "Goldsmith while part of the royal family is not in the royal family bloodline. It seems strange that he felt he was in a position to voice an opinion like this."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the U.K and the Crown in January 2020, fulfilling their final scheduled royal engagement in March 2020.

McCormick continued: "From a PR perspective, Gary's statements will not impact Meghan and Harry's image, However, I wouldn't be surprised if he abruptly stops commenting on the royals for the indefinite future."

Goldsmith said that the Suits star "put a stick in the spokes and created so much drama that I genuinely don’t think was there and rewrote the history and said how unhappy [Harry] was, and I don’t think that’s fair."
