New mama Princess Eugenie was photographed leaving The Portland Hospital with her husband, Jack Brooksbank, and their new son on Friday, February 12 — just three days after the brunette beauty gave birth.
In new photos obtained by the Daily Mail, the 30-year-old couldn’t stop smiling as she waved to the cameras from the back of the car. Eugenie sported a tan coat with a plaid shirt as Brooksbank took the wheel and drove them home.
It’s unclear where the family of three was driving to, but as The Royal Observer previously reported, the baby will reportedly be brought up at Queen Elizabeth II’s Frogmore Cottage — the same place where her cousin Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, lived after they welcomed their son, Archie.
Harry and Meghan moved into the home in April 2019, but after they moved to the United States and left the royal family, Eugenie and Jack decided to make it their residence.
"Eugenie and Harry have always been close and they chat privately all the time. It was Harry who suggested she and Jack could use Frogmore Cottage because it is much bigger than their cottage at Kensington Palace," an insider explained. "It is a case of one family member reaching out to another."
Earlier this week, the Palace confirmed that Eugenie had welcomed a son into her life.
"Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie was safely delivered of a son today, February 9 2021, at 8.55am at The Portland Hospital. Jack Brooksbank was present,” the Palace said in a statement. “The baby weighs 8lbs 1oz.”
The statement continued, "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of York, Sarah, Duchess of York, and Mr. and Mrs. George Brooksbank have been informed and are delighted with the news. This is Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's first child, The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York's first grandchild, and the ninth great-grandchild for The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well."
Shortly after, Eugenie took to Instagram to share the news with her followers and simply captioned a black-and-white photo of her baby’s finger with three blue heart emojis.
The pair hasn’t revealed the tot’s name just yet — but fans are eagerly waiting for the big reveal!
