Just a few hours after Buckingham Palace announced that Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi welcomed their first child together — a baby girl — her sister, Princess Eugenie, sent the couple some love via social media.
"To my dearest Beabea and Edo, Congratulations on your new angel. I can't wait to meet her and I'm so proud of you. We're going to have so much fun watching our children grow up. Love, Euge," the mom-of-one wrote on Instagram. "To my new niece, I love you already and think you're just awesome from the photos.. we're going to have so much fun together. Love, your Auntie Euge 🥰🥰💕💕😘."
Of course, people couldn't get enough of the sweet post. One person wrote, "This is how a sibling bond should be," while another added, "Congratulations to the happy parents and welcome to the world little girl 👶🏻💕."
A third user added, "So exciting!! Congratulations to all the family on this new blessing and arrival ❤️."
"Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter on Saturday 18th September 2021, at 23.42, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London," the palace said on Monday, September 20. "The baby weighs 6 pounds and 2 ounces. The new baby’s grandparents and great-grandparents have all been informed and are delighted with the news."
"The family would like to thank all the staff at the hospital for their wonderful care. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well, and the couple are looking forward to introducing their daughter to her big brother Christopher Woolf," the statement continued.
In May, Eugenie sent well-wishes to her sister after it was revealed she had a bun in the oven.
"It's World Bee Day!! 🐝🐝 A day to celebrate nature's most badass little friend with their black and yellow stripes.. But our furry little friends have to share today with my big sis Bea (🐝) who's got a little one on the way," Eugenie — who welcomed her first child, son August, in February — captioned two photos of her sister with her hubby. "Beabea and Edo huge congratulations on your news - can't wait to meet the little one 🥳🥳 #worldbeeday #savethebees."
