He shared that the product, when applied between shampoo and conditioner, brings a salon-quality shine. As reported by Hello! magazine, he said, "I looked after Diana for 10 years and always wanted to enhance her natural beauty through her hair colour. I customised Diana's blonde to suit her, and the highlights were placed in such a way that gave her a natural, sunkissed look. Throughout her life, Diana was recognized for her short, feathered hairstyle—so much so that it became part of her identity. After her divorce, she embraced a more modern, sophisticated look, but getting there wasn’t easy. Her longtime hairstylist, Sam McKnight, who worked with her for several years, recalled just how deeply her '80s voluminous cut had defined her image. Aware of the public’s fascination with her hair, Diana was careful not to make drastic changes, fearing it might overshadow her charity work. It took McKnight two years to finally persuade her to swap her classic feathered style for a sleeker, more contemporary cut, as reported by the Inquisitr.

After her makeover, Diana regularly visited Galvin’s London salon to soften her hair color and enhance her highlights. Her fresh look gave her a confidence boost, and she even credited McKnight for helping her feel ready to take on the world. Other than her hair, her makeup was equally stunning. Renowned makeup artist, Mary Greenwell, was entrusted by the former Princess of Wales to make her picture ready. In 2017, Greenwell, in a YouTube video, revealed her professional beauty secrets from working with Diana. She said, "I was so privileged to do her make-up for a few years before her untimely death. She was an icon. Her makeup was very, very simple." She shared that Diana loved getting her makeup done and had naturally beautiful skin and long lashes.
