Last week, royal fanatics got a sweet treat ahead of Christmas, as Kate Middleton and Prince William showed off their new card for the holidays, which featured their three kids — Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3.
"Delighted to share a new image of the family, which features on this year’s Christmas card 🎄," the caption read.
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to share a new photograph of their family," a statement from the palace read. "The photograph, which features on Their Royal Highnesses' Christmas card this year, shows The Duke and Duchess with their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in Jordan earlier this year."
In the photo, the family-of-five were all smiles as they posed for the camera in Jordan, but fans couldn't help but notice how grown up Charlotte looks — and how she takes after her great-grandmother.
One person wrote, “What a handsome family. You can really see Queen Elizabeth in Princess Charlotte,” while another added, “Charlotte is such cute princess, she is a the mini version of the Queen."
A third person added, “Charlotte is the image of the Queen. Adorable.”
This year, it seems like the tots will be hanging out with both sets of grandparents.
"I think we’re looking at three Christmases rolled into one for William and Kate and their children," Duncan Larcombe said. "There will be Christmas on their own with their kids, the more formal celebrations at Sandringham with William’s family and then time with Kate’s family, the Middletons."
As for what kinds of presents the kiddos will receive, expert Katie Nicholl believes William, 39, and Kate, 39, try to keep it simple.
"George enjoys his iPad at school, both he and Charlotte are quite tech-savvy and, like most children, there probably are technical gadgets and such like on their wish list," she noted. "I'm sure they're not going to want for anything, but when it comes to technology and screens, they are careful not to spoil them with extravagant gifting."
