You Belong With Me!: Prince William's Bright Spirit at Taylor Swift Concert and Other Events Hints Kate Middleton Is on the Mend
Prince William's energetic outings of late are captivating royal fans all over the world, but his Taylor Swift dance moves are also said to be a sign that Catherine, Princess of Wales, is truly "on the mend."
"I think that the fact that he's out there more, and the fact that we're seeing Kate in action herself really suggests that they're making really good progress, so good to see," royal expert Emily Nash told The Sun.
The commentator further shared how his recent appearance is in stark contrast to how we grimly remember the future king at engagements in recent months. "Earlier this year we were seeing William perhaps once a week, and there were lots of caveats around how long he was going to be at an engagement, what time it would be."
She added: "It felt like things were being very much tailored around his duties at home."
The monarch-to-be went to Swift's concert with his children, Prince George,10, and Princess Charlotte, 9, accompanied by Zara and Mike Tindall. At the event, the 34-year-old American pop icon, a longtime acquaintance of the Prince of Wales, initiated the London segment of her acclaimed Eras Tour. Her boyfriend, American football player Travis Kelce, was also present.
The following day, a selfie featuring the royals and the pop star was shared on the official Instagram account of the Prince and Princess of Wales. This outing followed Prince William's attendance at the Euro 2024 match between England and Denmark in Germany on Thursday, June 20, which ended in a 1-1 tie, as well as his appearance at Royal Ascot the day before.
Although the Princess of Wales was unable to attend the concert, she did post an Instagram photo of her spouse with their three children frolicking at the beach, and captioned it: "We all love you, Papa."
"By the looks of things, it’s going from strength to strength," long-serving royal lensman Arthur Edwards told the outlet. "And, as this photo shows, the future of the royal family is in safe hands."
"You know if you’ve got a smiling and happy family every time you take a picture you’ve got a lovely happy family," he added. "Catherine has turned into a super photographer. That’s a difficult picture to do at the best of times."
Edwards continued in his praise of the future queen's photography skills: "You might be able to get it all right, but she’s got it just perfect. The children are all loving it and, most of all, so is the birthday boy himself. For Prince William, family is everything and this has shown that. In spite of Catherine not being too well at the moment, she’s still managing to press the button at the right time, because that picture is fantastic."
