Together Forever: Prince William and Kate Middleton 'Will Never Professionally Separate' as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Go Solo
Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, both 42, will likely not be heading for a Prince Harry, 40, and Meghan Markle, 43, "professional separation" anytime soon.
A royal source told an outlet, "William and Catherine know that their strength is as a couple. It’s surprising that Harry and Meghan seem to believe that they are stronger apart when it comes to their engagements. Yes, the Prince and Princess of Wales will do things separately, but they will be together when it matters."
This insight comes amid reports of the Moneticito twosome allegedly experiencing problems in their marriage and not just their career trajectory. Royal commentator Julie Burchill suggested that Meghan viewed Harry as a hindrance to her ambitions.
She remarked, "It seemed likely that Meghan had decided that her husband was holding her back, which may have been the reason that the once inseparable pair had been traveling mostly solo this year."
Their recent independent engagements fueled this narrative, raising questions about their bond.
Burchill further claimed, "When a folie à deux got old, the lovers often turned on each other in their loneliness and frustration."
This observation mirrored their apparent struggles, both personally and professionally. Adding to their woes, public interest in their lives appeared to have dwindled.
Burchill asserted, "Just as a marriage could survive loathing but not contempt, so it went with public perception of the famous; we didn’t even hate them anymore. We just thought they were ridiculous."
Recent appearances highlighted their growing separateness. Harry attended The New York Times' DealBook Summit on Wednesday, December 4, where he humorously addressed divorce rumors, saying, "Apparently we’d bought or moved house 10, 12 times. We’d apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well."
Meanwhile, Meghan graced the red carpet at The Paley Honors gala in Beverly Hills the same evening without Harry by her side, raising eyebrows further.
Royal experts speculated that a professional separation might have been in play. Phil Dampier observed, "Clearly they had decided that at the moment it was better for them to go their separate ways in terms of their work commitments and their charity commitments."
While some insiders viewed this as a strategy to maintain individual pursuits, others believed it hinted at deeper issues within their marriage that a couple like the future king and queen "simply do not have."
A source noted, "This house purchase was the latest huge sign things weren’t right between Harry and Meghan. They were spending huge amounts of time apart, and this home gave them the perfect 'getaway' option from each other."
However, body language expert Darren Stanton offered a more optimistic take, claiming, "Harry and Meghan often displayed prolonged eye contact, which proved the couple’s deep level of connection and rapport."
As speculation swirled, the true nature of their relationship remained uncertain. The couple continued to face intense public scrutiny, their every move dissected and analyzed. Only time would reveal whether these challenges marked a turning point or simply another chapter in their complex royal saga.
