Prince William & Duchess Kate Dazzle On The Red Carpet At The Royal Variety Performance — Photos

Prince William and Kate Middleton had a date night when they attended the Royal Variety Performance at Royal Albert Hall in London on Thursday, November 18.
The Duchess dazzled in a green, sparkly dress, while her hubby looked dapper in a blue velvet suit.

The two were dressed to impress on their night out! Earlier that day, Prince William attended an event about technology.
"Innovation in the fight against the illegal wildlife trade has come so far over the past decade thanks to @united4wildlife, and as seen today first hand, a new technology that could transform how illegal wildlife products are intercepted at airports," the caption read. "@Microsoft’s project SEEKER, in collaboration with London Heathrow and supported by UFW, is designed to detect wildlife products in luggage and cargo as it passes through scanners and can be trained to detect a huge number of species."
The message continued, "Currently these capabilities often don’t exist in airports around the world & without it, it's unknown how much is moved around unseen. The illegal wildlife trade is worth approximately $50-150 billion per year and this technology could play a huge role in reducing that number."
Since Queen Elizabeth has been under the weather, Kate, 39, has been stepping up.
"They are all very natural women who come from solid backgrounds, who seem very comfortable in their own skin and there is no tension or conflict between them," royal royal biographer Penny Junor noted to The Telegraph. "Princess Diana was always in competition with her husband and the Duchess of Sussex is super-ambitious, but Camilla, Kate and Sophie all seem to get on and they don’t take themselves too seriously."
The mom-of-three has been upping her fashion game lately.
“I think it’s essential they turn up the glamour, because the ‘Fab Four’ never came to fruition," journalist Charlotte Griffiths said on the "Palace Confidential" podcast. “I’m afraid, the royal family look quite bland compared to Meghan and Harry, they just have that star quality. And Kate has got to ramp it up, because she’s got to bring the glamour. She is our last hope for glamour in the royal family now.”
Looks like the two had a fun outing!
