Prince William & Prince Harry 'At War' Ahead Of Netflix Docuseries Premiere, Expert Claims
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's upcoming Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan, will premiere on Thursday, December 8 — and Prince William is apparently nervous for what's to come.
“I think they’re still holding their breaths and waiting for the other shoe to drop,” royal expert Christopher Andersen told Us Weekly about the royal family. “Well, there are two shoes that are gonna drop because [after part one of the film premieres Thursday, December 8] … the [next one] is dropping next week.”
The author noted that “the sense of betrayal has shifted over to genuine combat mode, because obviously this is a war between the two.”
It's unclear what the royal family will do once the show is released, but Andersen noted that William, 40, "also has a temper."
“I mean, he tries to hide it, but it doesn’t work,” the royal watcher shared. “I’m sure he is very, very angry at his brother and cannot understand what he’s doing.”
In the trailer, Harry and Meghan discuss the royal family.
“There is absolutely no doubt now that the Sussexes are claiming there was a war against them," Richard Fitzwilliams noted. “We’ve got clear dynamite in there — it would be impossible to take that out of context. We haven’t seen it, but it’s so obvious. Christmas is bookended by what’s probably attacks — it’s grim."
“The question is, what can the royals do about it? Harry will always remain a prince. The only thing they can do is not invite them to the Coronation, and cut all ties — a clean cut from the Sussexes. Essentially, that’s all they can do.”
Princess Diana's butler Paul Burrell also said the pair should deal with the consequences.
“You’re King Charles, what on earth do you [do] given that one of these two people trying to ruin everything you represent is your own son?” Piers Morgan, 57 asked Burrell, who worked for the royal family or 21 years, on his show.
“You take away the titles, I agree with you, you do,” the 64-year-old replied. “They don’t want to be members of the royal family, so why should they trade on royal titles?”
