Prince Harry Safely Lands In The U.K. After Driver Reportedly Crashes Through Fence At LAX
Shortly before Prince Harry took off on a flight for the U.K. at Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday, June 24, a male driver crashed through a fence, CBSLA reported.
According to the outlet, the police had to chase the man over two runways while planes were landing and taking off. He was then arrested at Atlantic Aviation, a private terminal for charter planes. No one was injured, but flights were delayed.
The incident happened around the time Harry was heading back home for Princess Diana's statue unveiling.
According to The Mirror, Harry's American Airlines flight took off around 6:45 p.m. local time, and he landed at Heathrow Airport around 12:45 p.m. U.K. time on Friday, June 25.
Before Harry sees Prince William or any other members of his family, he must quarantine for for five days.
“The building was originally five different cottages before it was given to Harry and Meghan," a source said about Princess Beatrice's Frogmore Cottage, where Harry will isolate. “They spent a lot of money getting it into shape for their family — before quitting for California."
“Eugenie and Jack were handed the keys last year and told they could use it while Harry and Meghan were in America," the insider continued. “The cottage is now literally split into two, meaning Harry can isolate in one half of the house without ever coming into contact with his cousin and her family. It has been set up for his return after last-minute plans seemed to work when he was back for the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral in April.”
Harry and William's relationship has been strained for quite some time, but it seems like there will be some time for them to hash things out during the dad-of-two's visit.
“Despite their ongoing issues, Prince Harry and Prince William have communicated about the unveiling of the Princess Diana statue,” a source told In Touch. “They’ll be an opportunity for them to talk in person either just before and after the unveiling.”
