The start of something beautiful! Prince Harry got candid about when he knew he had met his soulmate, Meghan Markle.
"The second date I was starting to think 'Wow, this is pretty special,'" the 36-year-old told James Corden on the Thursday, February 25, episode of The Late Late Show. "It was just the fact we hit it off with each other and we were just so comfortable in each other's company.”
Harry continued, "Dating with me or with any member of the royal family I guess is kinda flipped upside down. All the dates become dinners, or watching the TV or chatting at home. Then eventually once you become a couple, then you venture out to dinners to the cinema and everything else."
"Everything was done back to front with us so actually we got to spend an enormous amount of time just the two of us rather than going to friends' houses or out for dinner where there were other distractions," he shared.
Ultimately, Harry and Meghan, 39, were able to get to know one another with “no distractions.”
“It was an amazing thing, we went from zero to 60 in the first two months,” he said.
As for what the couple does in the spare time, it seems like they live a pretty normal life in Montecito, Calif.
“Depending on how the day’s been, we do Archie’s tea, give him a bath, read him a book, put him down, go downstairs,” Harry said. “Meg might cook a meal, might order a takeaway, go upstairs, sit in bed, turn the TV on, watch some Jeopardy!, maybe watch a little bit of Netflix.”
During Corden and Harry’s outing, Meghan revealed what she calls her hubby.
“Haz, how’s your tour of L.A. going?” she asked her hubby.
"Haz?" Corden said. "I didn't know we were calling you 'Haz' now."
"You're not my wife," Harry quipped.
The pair — who met in 2016 and got married in 2018 — will sit down with Oprah Winfrey to chat about their life and future plans on March 7.
