Prince Harry's Montecito Inner Circle: Duke's 'Hand-Picked Second Family' Shows Rebel Royal 'Needs Support' as Spare Heir 'Feels Isolated'
Prince Harry's "lads holiday" to celebrate his 40th birthday on September 15 has been revealed to be some of the California-based Duke's "hand-picked second family." As the fiery-haired prince jetted away, those joining him are said to have included Nacho Figueras, and "party animal" Tom "Skippy" Inskip.
Prince William was reported to have not been on the guest list.
The Duke's "second dad" Mark Dyer and even one of the rebel princes' former royal protection officers, David Langdown, joined the sojourn which did not include Meghan Markle. Langdown retired from his official position within royal security and now works privately for Harry where he is reportedly paid "thousands of pounds" by the Duke each day.
The fifth in line to the British throne's inner circle is rounded out by Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, as well as "choice" pals of the ex-actress turned Duchess in the Montecito area.
Speaking about Harry's new and "uniquely bizarre" life in the States as one royal insider described it, body language analyst Darren Stanton dished, "When people feel isolated, they create their own tribes around them. When it comes to Prince Harry, it’s clear he’s built his own tribe in America."
Stanton continued, "Obviously people like to have infrastructure and support when it comes to their close relationships. It's a basic need, as well to interact with other people."
While pointing out that the Duke's new set of friends are not "yes men," the analyst further observed, "For whatever circumstances, some people are forced to live away from their family. But in the same token, people need support and love around them, therefore creating their own sense of community."
The rebel prince received a "surprise" birthday wish from his real and royal family, but nothing is expected to "come from it" regarding a possible end to the rift.
This curious insight follows recent news that shared how the Duke is not expected to "visit Kate and William" during his trip to the U.K. on Monday, September 30, for the WellChild Awards.
The Prince of Wales and his brother allegedly haven't spoken a word to one another privately since Queen Elizabeth II's funeral nearly two years ago. It is said that Harry's disparaging remarks against the future king and his wife as well as sharing personal details about other senior royals are "of course," a few of the reasons why.
Some feel that Meghan's "quiet and coy" behind-the-scenes presence in all of these events could be her "maneuvering the prince like a puppet to frame a story she wishes to control," as one X commenter described it.
The Sun reported on Stanton's remarks.
