'Taking Charge': Prince Harry Has 'Come Into His Own' Away From Meghan Markle
Prince Harry's attitude and demeanor are changing as he enthusiastically settles into his new career goals and initiatives — away from Meghan Markle.
"In the past, Harry would be a more introverted version of himself when he was alongside Meghan and more extroverted when he was by himself, but now he seems to have found himself," body language expert Darren Stanton told an outlet.
"I think he has found his inner strength, previously he hasn't shown this despite his position, and it looks to have shifted in a way," Stanton added.
On the flipside of the Montecito duo, the analyst observed: "I think Meghan recognizes that Harry is a powerful person as a royal, and I think she might feel slightly less dominant at that moment."
Stanton continued: "They both seem confident, Harry doesn’t look nervous at all, which is quite unusual, as it is usually when he is on his own that he comes across this way, but he appears very confident and relaxed. It seems as though something in the dynamics or the power balance of the relationship has shifted."
The expert's insights come after the Duke of Sussex was caught on camera dancing and celebrating a victory for the Vancouver Canucks at a hockey game on Monday, November 20.
The fiery-haired prince has been labeled as looking dour and "depressed" at numerous public appearances throughout 2023, many of which followed the pair's "near catastrophic car chase" in NYC on May 16, which brought with it claims that the ex-working royals "exaggerated" the seriousness of the paparazzi pursuit.
Although Harry's attitude is perking up and showing flashes of the carefree prince of yesteryear, opinions on the Sussex duo seem to remain divided.
In the comments section for the hockey video, one fan wrote: "The excitement on both of their faces and his little dance." But another X user chimed in by observing: "Trust me on this one. You don't want them," when referencing the game being held in Canada — Harry and Meghan live in the United States.
Another commenter quipped: "Having fun! Not thinking about Christmas invites, love it for them," when referencing recent rumors that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may not be invited to Sandringham this year with the royal family.
Regardless of the state of the Sussex marriage or reports suggesting that the couple are at odds with one another over where to permanently live, 2023 has been the year in which Prince Harry regained his solo spotlight. Although he hasn't announced any upcoming projects, royal analysts wait with bated breath for what 2024 brings for the rebel prince.
