Prince Harry's Stateside Humbling! Duke Dubbed 'Loser' in the U.S. and Told to Crawl Back to King Charles to Ask Forgiveness
Prince Harry just took a lashing of words when it comes to his fame status in the United States.
"I think he thinks he’s bigger than he actually is," veteran royal photographer Arthur Edwards told an outlet. "I also think Meghan [Markle] doesn’t want to come here anymore, He comes back but she never comes with him."
"What really upsets the King is the fact that he’s never going to see his grandchildren [Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet]," the acclaimed lensman added. He continued by pointing out how the elusive Sussex children should be "playing with their cousins," possibly alluding to Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte.
"They should be here enjoying the life of the royal family," Edwards further observed. "Instead of that, they’re stuck in their house in Montecito and they’re just celebrities in a town full of celebrities. Here, he was somebody, and there, just another celebrity, in my view. He’s the loser, big time."
To add insult to injury, the late Queen Elizabeth II's former police officer, Dick Griffin, shared, "This morning, I read that before he went [to America] he was the most popular royal and now, he’s gone right down, almost at the bottom of the list."
This follows reports that share how the Montecito pair's four-year-plus attempt to reign supreme in Hollywood has reportedly failed. In her "neverending" bid to become a Hollywood A-lister, the Duchess of Sussex may have to settle for "D-list" notoriety.
The royal rebels thought, "'We'll be at the center of this sort of royal court, and everyone will come to see us,'" royal expert Richard Eden dished. "But it never seems to be working out like that."
This insight about the Sussex Hollywood freeze-out picking up steam again comes after the royal rebels' attempt to transition into influencers and "health and wellness gurus" with Meghan's American Riviera Orchard. Moving from the structured world of British royalty to the competitive and often unpredictable entertainment industry presented hurdles to the pair, even with Meghan's past acting experience.
Their shift seemingly continues to involve not only adjusting to different roles and public expectations but also competing with established actors and personalities already established in Hollywood. Furthermore, the public's perception of their move from royalty to entertainment figures adds another layer of complexity, with their motives and abilities frequently questioned.
But if the fiery-haired prince wishes to pack it all in and return to a world of servants and palaces, "that ship may have already sailed," a former palace aide dished.
Edwards concluded by stating, "He’s going to have to make a big, big, big act of contrition in my view, to the King, before he gets back because, quite frankly, they’re frightened to have him with them because any conversation they have could be in the next TV program they make. They’re not prepared to do that anymore."
Daily Express reported on the expert revelations.
