Showering mom with love! Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis baked a cake for their mother, Kate Middleton, in honor of Mother's Day in the U.K.
"Celebrating two other special mothers today ❤️🎂 made by George, Charlotte and Louis," the Kensington Royal Instagram account captioned a photo of a homemade cake decorated with hearts and icing, along with a throwback photo of Kate and her mother, Carole Middleton.
Of course, fans loved the adorable gesture. One person wrote, "What a beautiful cake!! George, Charlotte and Louis are really creative," while another echoed, "What a sweet photo of Kate and her mother! And that cake the children made is equally dazzling. 👏👏❤️."
A third user added, "What a cute cake!!! I love it!!! ❤️ Happy Mother’s Day to those that celebrate it today!"
Last year, the pair shared several photos — one of Kate and Prince William giving a piggyback ride to Charlotte and George, one of William and Prince Harry with their late mother, Princess Diana, and one of Kate with her mom — on the holiday.
That same day, William and Kate's kids paid tribute to Diana by writing her sweet letters.
George's card featured some landscape. “Dear Granny Diana, Happy Mother’s Day. I love you very much and think of you always, Sending lots of love from George xxxxxx," he wrote, while Charlotte drew a colorful heart and added some stickers to her work of art. “I am thinking of you on Mother’s Day. I love you very much. Papa is missing you," she added.
Lastly, Louis shared some fun stickers in addition to a multi-color heart on green construction paper. "From Louis," it said.
The family has been hunkering down amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. In November 2020, the mom-of-three got candid about what it's been like being home with her kids all the time.
"How do you manage toddler tantrums in your household — especially with multiple children?" she read. "That is a hard one. I would also like to ask the experts myself."
