"The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall have arrived in the Isles of Scilly! 🏝A group of over 200 islands and rocks located 28 miles from Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly have been part of the Duchy of Cornwall since its beginning in the 14th century. 🚗♻️," Clarence House captioned some photos on Instagram.
The two tried to beat the heat while walking around outside.
"At Five Islands Academy School, Their Royal Highnesses arrived in a GO-EV Car Share vehicle, one of a fleet recently installed on the island to encourage sustainable travel. At the school, The Duke was given a tour of the fruit and vegetable patch 🍓 🥔 while The Duchess joined a special story time. 📖," the message continued.
Pawfect day! Charles got to pet a pooch, which was probably the highlight of his day.
Meanwhile, Camilla posed with some children — who all wore blue outfits — outside.
Camilla read The Promise to the tots.
"Thank you for such a warm welcome to the Isles of Scilly! ☀️Having spent the morning at St Mary’s, The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall headed to Bryher, where they met the Pender family who run fishmonger and cafe, Island Fish. 🦀Later, The Duchess was put to work in the fudge kitchen at Veronica Farm, another family owned business on the Scilly Isles," Clarence House posted a video of the pair's day.
Camilla protected her skin by holding up an umbrella.
She's one shady lady!
