Prince Andrew 'Terrified' as Author's Jeffrey Epstein Tapes Threaten to Reveal Dark Connections
Prince Andrew is running scared, and it has nothing to do with his battle with King Charles over the Royal Lodge.
The Duke of York is said to be "terrified" of investigative journalist Michael Wolff's "Jeffrey Epstein tapes" being made public via The Daily Beast.
"The duke is, quite frankly, terrified that the whole matter of his friendship with Epstein is going to be excavated once again in these new tapes," a friend of the disgraced royal told the publication. "He has had to get used to living under the Sword of Damocles, and it is not a very comfortable existence. These endless threats lurk in the shadows and occasionally, like now, they break the surface."
Randy Andy's pal also touched upon the frustration the prince reportedly feels about the "endless" Epstein stories that still follow him to this day.
"He feels he has been very clear about his friendship with Epstein, he has apologized for it, he is ashamed of it, he has lost everything as a result of it," they further spilled. "He is not a man inclined to self-pity but you could forgive him for wondering, having given up all his royal titles and privileges, when he will be allowed to get on with living his own life."
Epstein took his own life in August 2019 while incarcerated even though many feel his demise was "an inside job." Wolff spoke with the disgraced pedophile for what he claims is around "100 hours" of audio recordings. The publication released excerpts from some of the tapes in early November, which found the financier calling Donald Trump, who won the 2024 election, his "closest friend."
Epstein also revealed the 45th and now 47th U.S. president liked to have s-- with his friends' wives, and allegedly first slept with First Lady Melania Trump on the convicted s-- offender's jet.
As for HRH's presence on any of the audio files, there is growing speculation the Duke "is without a doubt all over the tapes."
"It was always rumored that Epstein collected kompromat on his 'friends,' and many people suspect the FBI is now sitting on it," royal historian Andrew Lownie shared.
"You have to ask yourself, why would Epstein talk to Michael Wolff on tape?" he added. "He must have always known eventually these tapes would come out. These tapes could, therefore, be seen as his insurance policy from beyond the grave in the event that the kompromat got suppressed. If he did talk about Andrew on the tapes, they clearly have the potential to do him grave damage."
The Duke reportedly lost his security detail at the end of October amid his ongoing property feud with the King.
