Meghan Markle's comment-disabled return to Instagram on New Year's Day coincided with the trailer release of her new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, set to drop on the streamer on January 15.

As the reluctant HRH plans to "reimagine the genre of lifestyle programming," the ex-actress' "tone deaf, woke Hollywood smorgasbord of dullness" is reportedly the "grand finale" of the duo's controversial deal with the streamer," one Sussex critic stated.

Meghan Markle returned to Instagram on January 1, 2025.

"I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it," the Duchess wrote on her new Instagram. "Wishing you all a fantastic new year! Thanks to our amazing crew and the team @netflix. Beyond grateful for the support — and fun! As ever, Meghan."

No comments can be made on the new account — her first in nearly seven years — in what one analyst described as "a move to totally silence the trolls right out of the gate."

On X, one commenter countered this assertion by quipping, "More like cowardice and a way to silence dissent right out of the gate."

The eight-part program is set to feature cameos from Mindy Kaling and others, but observers were quick to notice Prince Harry's presence was "so obviously lacking" in the trailer.

Netflix's 'With Love, Meghan' premieres on January 15, 2025.

Their Royal Highnesses are set to potentially close out their Netflix career with just one hit out of four documentaries before the drop of With Love, Meghan, that being 2022's sensationalistic Harry & Meghan.

Live to Lead, Heart of Invictus and POLO were all "flops" for the streamer with all eyes on Meghan's new solo venture as "the only saving grace for their $100 million deal, and any hopes of a new contract," a PR analyst explained.

There is also reportedly a new podcast for Meghan long in the works for Lemonada Media, with the PR expert claiming it "could be set to launch when ratings for the new series come in."

Speaking about the podcast delay last spring, commentator Kinsey Schofield alternatively predicted, "They're afraid that her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, and her new Netflix series could conflict with the promotion that they’d really like to go into this new podcasting venture."

Meghan Markle previously alluded to internet trolls impacting her mental health.

"There is, I would suspect, not a lot of money on the line here or there would be pressure and bigger expectations for Meghan to execute this," she said when highlighting one of the project's many differences with the ultra-lucrative Spotify failure.

"We saw that with Spotify. There was a countdown clock. When they only got 13 episodes out of the Sussexes, they gave them the chop. There are sources telling the Daily Mail that Meghan has a list of very high-profile guests scheduled to participate in her new podcast, but does she?" she concluded.
