An 'Extremely Proud' Duchess: Meghan Markle Watches From California as Prince Harry Talks Global Issues and Later Joins Jimmy Fallon for Spooky Fun
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's newly launched "Parent's Network" through their Archewell Foundation was represented by the Duke of Sussex in NYC this week. The Duchess of Sussex is reportedly "extremely proud" of Harry, and was "delighted" by his spooky Halloween drop-in on Thursday, September 26's episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Jimmy Fallon asked the prince to tour his newly launched attraction at 30 Rockefeller Center called "Tonightmares." In the skit, the host asked the rebel royal if he was easily frightened, and Harry replied, "Not normally, but today might be different."
At the Clinton Global Initiative event on Tuesday, September 24, His Royal Highness received a standing ovation for emotionally telling the crowd, "My lock screen is a picture of my kids. What’s on yours?" he said in front of a large screen showing deceased children — all victims of online harassment.
"These children, and thousands more, meant the world to their families," the Duke added. "The beautiful faces you see before you, their smiles, their dreams."
He then shared that he felt they all perished "because of social media."
The Montecito twosome "continue to impress" and dazzle one another in their "stronger than ever" marriage.
Body language analyst Darren Stanton said on behalf of Betfair Live Casino, "In recent events, Harry and Meghan have demonstrated that they have found a new closeness within their relationship."
"After making an appearance in Colombia, they seemed to be on another level of feeling in sync and connected with one another," he added. "From kissing in public to rarely distancing themselves from each other, this tactile behavior proves they’re feeling stronger than ever about their connection, and it continues to grow."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex met during the summer of 2016 and quickly began dating. The duo's romance went public later that year, and in 2017, both met with the late Queen Elizabeth II, who gave her blessing for their union. Their highly-rated wedding at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, on May 19, 2018, soon turned sour when it came to their lives in a working royal family, and they both left (Megxit) in early 2020 for California.
But the pair managed to "put the naysayers to rest" when it comes to a public showing of their "special bond."
This led lip reader Judi James to share, "In 2018 they were locking lips at a similar event and it’s easy to spot some intrinsic differences in their way of handling this very traditional royal PDA. Back in 2018 Harry, looking all fired-up and full of passion after hammering around on the polo field planted a very sexy kiss on Meghan’s lips, giving the kiss a 'get a room!' quality. His expression was serious and he looked lost in the moment as he turned his head but kept his torso facing front."
Vanity Fair reported on Harry's NYC trip.
