Come Back to Britain, Meghan: Duchess of Sussex Urged to 'Return' to U.K. to Spend Time With Sick King Charles
Meghan Markle, who said she felt "hounded" by the British press, has been urged to return to Britain along with her two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet Diana.
"I think it would be lovely, especially during this time, for the King to spend special time with them," royal commentator Lydia Atly dished when discussing Charles III's recent cancer diagnosis.
"When Meghan moved to the U.S. and took Prince Harry with her and her children, I personally didn’t think she was happy, neither once she left nor about the idea she would want to return to the U.K. "[She] left the institution to start a new life in California," she added. "I think in this current state of affairs with regard to King Charles's recent diagnosis, I personally believe she should put all the past behind her."
Atly continued: "Her children, Lili and Archie, need to see their grandfather. Of course, we don't know the full story; she might want to see her family in the U.K. and might be skeptical of her family's safety."
This insight comes amid the Duke of Sussex's rumored "talks" for a return to his homeland... with his family.
"The move to bring the Invictus Games back to Britain is seen as an opportunity for Harry, and he is very keen to take it," a source close to Team Sussex spilled. "He is adamant that he wants Meghan and the children to join him, but I think she may be apprehensive, and I think she finds being in the U.K. very uncomfortable."
This refutes a claim from Sussex "cheerleader" Omid Scobie, who previously stated that the Duchess of Sussex does not wish to come back to Britain because she doesn't want "to dive back into the soap opera."
Prince Harry visited King Charles III on February 6, in what became a media sensation in how the fifth in line to the throne only sat with the cancer-plagued monarch for "45 minutes."
"Harry is very keen for his entire family to join him," another Sussex source spilled. "It’s important for him that they show a united front and focus on building bridges with the rest of the royal family."
The insider continued: "Harry is very keen for his entire family to join him... It’s important for him that they show a united front and focus on building bridges with the rest of the royal family. I think Meghan knows that she hasn’t been wanted in the past, so why would it be any different this time around? The couple know they won’t be able to repair things with the Prince and Princess of Wales just yet, but there is hope that the King will be able to bring the families closer together."
