Meghan Markle & Prince Harry 'Were The First To Donate' To Montecito's First Annual Christmas Parade
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are getting into the holiday spirit! According to the Montecito Journal, the two — who moved to California in 2020 — made a nice contribution to their town's Christmas parade.
"Thanks to the many parade sponsors including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle who were first to donate, Montecito Journal, Nina Terzian, Riskin Partners, Penelope & Adam Bianchi, Sean Fahey, Robert Pavloff, Pane E Vino, Village Properties, Noozhawk, Montecito Fire Protection District, and Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office," the article read.
According to the outlet, the first annual Holiday Car Parade was a success! Kids lined up in the streets, cheering on the cars, which were decorated with toys, sleighs, pets and more.
In November while appearing on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show, the brunette beauty — who shares daughter Lilibet, 6 months, and Archie, 2, with Harry — gushed over living on the West Coast with her brood.
"He loves it. ... We moved here during lockdown, exactly when things shut down, so we've just been able to spend a lot of time at home and creating our home, but I think it's just the lifestyle and the weather is pretty great. But we're just happy," she said.
This year, the two will stay put in their lavish abode and not make the trek to be with Harry's family in the U.K.
"They want to nest and make some home-cooked meals," an insider told OK!, adding that the duo will most likely entertain Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland, and celeb pals Katharine McPhee and David Foster at their house.
The source continued, "They'll have some get-togethers with friends and colleagues who've been by their side through thick and thin this year. Though at the end of the day, all that matters to Harry is that they'll be together."
