Journalist Blasts Meghan Markle & Prince Harry, Says 'We Should Never Hear From Them Again'
It's no surprise that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ruffle some feathers, but former journalist John Sergeant didn't hold back when speaking about the couple on GB News.
"I think we should never hear from them again," he stated. "I would just like to wake up and for someone to say, 'Who do you mean there?' It's just awful, the pointless damage they've done. It's one thing to say they were treated unfairly, you know they weren't."
Some people agreed with Sergeant's remarks, writing, "Spot on, John Sergeant. Oh to never hear from them again."
A person said, "All U.K. media should ban any interaction with them or their PR reps the end."
Another person disagreed, saying, "You seem to care about them an awful lot for not wanting to hear about them."
To make things worse, Meghan, 40, announced her new podcast "Archetypes" on Thursday, March 24, which will talk about women in media, while Prince Harry's memoir will be released later this year.
"That book will have a lot of casualties and cause a lot of hurt. It will really deliver, as Harry knows it has to, to justify the money he’s been paid to do it," expert Tom Bower told Closer magazine. “How can Harry come back and pretend it’s all fine? The worst of what he will say is yet to come.”
Harry was potentially going to make the trip back home for Prince Philip's memorial service, but he later confirmed he would not be going after all.
“I think Harry won’t come back because he knows he cannot face his family, and be pleasant with them, knowing what he’s written about them in that book," Quinn noted.
Harry doesn't want to come back to the U.K. as he doesn't feel safe due to lack of security. However, editor Russell Myers doesn't believe that's the only reason why Harry won't fly home.
“He has taken the British government to court about his security and he’s claiming that it’s too dangerous to come to the U.K. to bring his family back with him," he shared. “But I mean it’s frankly a ludicrous argument because, I mean, he’s going over to Europe. He’ll be at the Invictus Games, which is a fantastic event that has been delayed for a couple of years and he won’t be able to come over and see his granny and the rest of the family. So he’s backed himself into a corner, unfortunately, and it’s not a good look.”
