Failed Duchess' Hollywood Hustle: Meghan Markle's Bold Plot to Conquer Tinseltown Unveiled as Royal Scandal Simmers
Meghan Markle "has nearly lost her mind trying to reach Hollywood A-list status," a Hollywood insider shared.
With Tinseltown "not that interested," the rogue Duchess' "ultimate aim seems to be to make herself relevant and to transform herself into American royalty who is admired and powerful, independent of her husband," psychologist Dr. Robi Ludwig told an outlet.
"Whether this will be successful remains to be seen, as the public has not always been receptive to many aspects of her character and personality," the therapist added.
The former Suits supporting player ignited conversation when she made a surprise red carpet appearance for the Children's Hospital Los Angeles 2024 gala event on Saturday, October 5, without Prince Harry. Wearing a red Carolina Herrera dress she first donned in 2021, the British royal by marriage "seemed lost" and struggled with "how to hold her hands since they are typically glued to Harry at these things," a commenter on X described.
This led Dr. Ludwig to further add, "Wearing red is a powerful, boss lady color. It says, 'I'm here, I'm not hiding, and I’m ready to assume my position of power.' Wearing red often symbolizes attraction, confidence and empowerment. The 'red dress effect' studies found that red enhances the male gaze and encourages men to find women wearing red more appealing."
This follows reports that suggest Meghan and Harry's four-year-plus attempt to reign supreme in Hollywood has reportedly failed. In her "neverending" bid to become a Hollywood A-lister, the Duchess of Sussex may have to settle for "D-list" notoriety.
The royal rebels thought, "'We'll be at the center of this sort of royal court, and everyone will come to see us,'" royal expert Richard Eden dished. "But it never seems to be working out like that."
This insight about the Sussex Hollywood freeze-out picking up steam again comes after the royal rebels' attempt to transition into influencers and "health and wellness gurus" with Meghan's American Riviera Orchard. Moving from the structured world of British royalty to the competitive and often unpredictable entertainment industry presented hurdles to the pair, even with Meghan's past acting experience.
"Fame can be a double-edged sword; while it can attract admiration, it can also invite criticism and disdain. The unconditional adoration she may have hoped for is not a given," Dr. Ludwig continued when assessing where Meghan is now situated in America's fantasy mecca.
"She may be considering ways to re-imagine her public persona," she said. "Meghan might be… curious to explore what happens when she steps out on her own."
But this psychological assessment of "Duchess Difficult" could miss "the bigger picture."
"Sadly, she has squandered both the support of the British public, which greeted her with open arms and adoration, as well as the celebrity status she originally garnered in the U.S." royal expert Hilary Fordwich shared.
Now it would seem Her reluctant Royal Highness "has no fantasyland to play make-believe in."
