"Over the past year, our world has experienced pain, loss and struggle — together. Now we need to recover and heal — together," the pair said. "We can't leave anybody behind. We will all benefit, we will all be safer, when everyone, everywhere has equal access to the vaccine."

“Prince Harry and Meghan will join the 24-hour global broadcast event live from the Great Lawn in New York City’s Central Park, to continue their urgent work with world leaders in the pursuit of global vaccine equity to end the COVID-19 pandemic for everyone, everywhere,” the festival wrote in a statement.

Meghan and Harry have had quite a few days in New York City. First, they met with Mayor Bill de Blasio and Governor Kathy Hochul at One World Observatory, and then they went to the 9/11 museum and the World Trade Center Memorial.

The next day, the duo ventured to Harlem, where they read to children — and Meghan whipped out her children's book, The Bench.

"The idea of representation — 'That looks like me!' — I wanted everyone to be included in this book," she added.
