Meghan Markle Labeled Classic 'American Woke Progressive' Who 'Doesn't Like to Work' But Enjoys 'Freebies'
President-elect Donald Trump's possible Secretary of State Ric Grenell had some choice words for Meghan Markle after her notorious interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021.
"Meghan Markle is the classic American woke progressive. She doesn’t want to do the work but is outraged she doesn’t get the freebies," the ex-U.S. Ambassador to Germany shared.
This insight into the "Diva Duchess" resurfaces at a time when the ex-working royal is coming under fire for her "double standards" when it comes to her messaging compared to her lifestyle.
This led an insider to spill, "Meghan has been meticulously curating gift packages filled with a selection of all her favorite things, and of course, plenty of her jam to send to the who’s who of Hollywood."
A commentor on X then replied, "So disgusting and everything wrong with Hollyweird. She rattles on about the needy and disadvantaged while sending her holier-than-thou pals gift baskets that could put a homeless person in a modest house."
Meghan and Prince Harry have been slammed when it comes to how they live, compared to the things they say and promote.
"I think people can see through both of them now, actually, and can see where they told lots of lies and can see this terrible moaning, endless moaning," royal biographer Angela Levin told an outlet. "Now, if you look at [this] country or an American, you [can see that] it's very hard for people."
She added, "You know, money is difficult. You know gas prices are high, and they don't moan. And if you've got a beautiful house with 16 bathrooms and the sea is very near you, two young children, and you're still moaning, I mean, to have six hours on Netflix, which was really one long moan. I'm sure you didn't see it. I actually pushed myself through it."
"But I think that you can't actually continue to do that without any gratitude," Levin further observed when criticizing the royal rebels. "There was no gratitude. Meghan wouldn't be known for anything if she hadn't actually married Harry and been in the royal family. You know, her wedding was 132 million pounds — no gratitude."
The couple’s "painfully hollow" advocacy work comes amidst visible changes in their public relationship. They have mostly appeared separately in recent months, with Harry seen on engagements in New York, South Africa, and the U.K., while the Suits alum attended a gala in Los Angeles.
These solo appearances have fueled media speculation about their relationship, but this video showcases their united front on shared values and mission.
The political backdrop is also relevant, with Trump’s recent election heightening media interest in the couple’s status in the U.S. Trump’s criticism of them has been pointed, with the president-elect hinting at deportation due to Harry’s admissions of past drug use in his memoir, Spare.
