Meghan Markle and Pamela Anderson have more in common than being Hollywood’s former leading ladies. While Markle makes headlines with her Netflix show With Love, Meghan, Anderson has Pamela's Cooking With Love on Amazon Prime. Netizens couldn't help but notice the striking similarities between the two shows. As per Page Six, eagle-eyed royal watchers took to X (formerly Twitter) and berated Markle for copying Anderson.

Despite Markle's best efforts to show the public the real her, online sleuths have nitpicked her plagiarism. Anderson’s show, Pamela's Cooking With Love, features the Baywatch alum hosting famous chefs at her home to cook plant-based meals over hearty conversations. Similarly, Markle invites her A-list friends to her lavish mansion to cook with her and discuss life. Fans have hence unleashed a tirade on social media accusing Markle of ripping off Anderson’s original idea.

On X (formerly Twitter) a person slammed, “Looks like 'the Sussexes' stole the show, but there's something they can't steal. Pam is a genuine person. She's been through real challenges. Meghan Markle can never, ever be any of that.” Another pointed out the similarity between the show's names. “If you’re going to copy, at least come up with a much different name,” they said. Chiming in, a netizen noted, “The trailers are so close to being alike...She has no shame.” Another quipped, “She’s the Princess of Plagiarism, only title that she deserves." As per Fox News, royal expert, Neil Sean, on his YouTube channel, also dubbed Markle’s show a 'frame-for-frame' copy in some cases. He said, "It’s difficult to reinvent it (cooking shows), but Meghan didn’t even bother with that. Clearly, she just got inspired."

Royal enthusiasts were also convinced Markle feigned her cooking skills. A comment read, “Meghan Markle couldn’t boil noodles 🍜” Another echoed, “Megan hasn’t touched a stove in her entire life...nor washed a dish.” A netizen agreed, “Megan is not convincing me at all that she is this Martha Stewart. She has people who do all this for her. It's fake.” Meanwhile, a fan defending the Duchess, reasoned, “There are many cooking shows. Plenty of room for all of them. If you don't like Meghan, then don't watch. Super simple."

This isn't the first time that Markle has been accused of faking her cooking for the cameras. On St. Patrick’s Day, when she shared an Instagram story making green waffles for her kids, netizens quickly flooded the comment section, accusing Markle of staging her cooking and using a readymade waffle mixture. Fans pointed out that her waffles were made from pre-packaged egg mix as they claimed her batter didn't match the final product. Despite the backlash, Markle has continued to focus on her cooking show which has been renewed for a second season.
