Meghan Markle has not acted alone in attacking the British royal family, but one critic does feel that the ex-actress is solely responsible for "almost splitting" the monarchy apart.

"I've never hidden my thoughts on these two, I really can't stand them if I'm honest," commentator Adam Brooks told GBN. "He's as wet and as hypocritical as they come, and she's one massive diva."

Meghan Markle was also accused of 'driving a wedge' between formerly 'close' Princes William and Harry.

"It's a shame because in 2018, I threw a party for their wedding, the nation was on a buzz," he added. "I thought it would help race relations, and I thought it was great that he was marrying her, but she's just turned out to be a disaster. And I think she's nearly split up the royal family."

These insights come as the royal rebels touched down in Colombia on Thursday, August 15, for a four-day tour. Arriving in the capital of Bogota, the ex-working royals were welcomed by the nation's officials amid a stark security contrast.

This led former Labour Party Member of Parliament Bill Rammell to state: "As a minister, I went to Colombia three times, and I only went with protection officers because it's one of the most dangerous countries in the world."

Prince Harry previously stated that he felt the U.K. was too "dangerous" for either himself or his family to visit, which many saw as a way of the prince "chiding" the British legal system. The fifth in line to the throne lost his bid for taxpayer-funded police protection for himself and his family when in Britain, back in February.

The Duchess of Sussex is accused by some of 'always knowing she would hook either William or Harry.'

Rammell continued: "However, I think you can have some sympathy for him. He's a damaged young man, he lost his mother at a very early age and that's clearly scarred him. He's estranged from his father and his brother, and speaking as a human being, not a monarchist, I think that's very sad."

According to former royal butler to King Charles III, Grant Harrold, who worked in both his and Harry and Prince William's households from 2004-2011, the royal rebel Duke could be homesick. The former palace aide exclusively told The Royal Observer that he does "believe there is a part of Harry that does want to return to royal duties."

"He was brought up that way and knows how much good he is able to do when he carries out royal engagements," he added. "I believe he likely misses doing this and would like to return to it one day. He can’t do this without the backing of his father and these are conversations they would need to have before he could return to royal duties."
