From hushed affairs to leaked private letters, the royal family has had to face several controversies, but perhaps only a few are as scandalous as a man claiming to be the 'secret lovechild' of King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla. British-born man living in Australia, Simon Dorante-Day, is pursuing legal action and has demanded a paternity test, pointing to the striking similarities in facial features he shares with Charles, Prince William, and Prince Harry. On Facebook, he shared side-by-side photo comparisons as evidence of his claim.

King Charles and Queen Camilla hosted by the Ministry of Defense on Southsea Common on June 5, 2024.

As reported by Knews, he wrote, "This comparison of William, myself, Charles, and Harry demonstrates something very clearly, there is no consistency. The fact that the left side of my face identically matches Charles's whilst neither William’s nor Harry’s does, raises the obvious question, just who are Charles’ real sons?" He added, “I believe a four-way paternity test is the only way to resolve this issue once and for all.” Dorante-Day stressed, "The truth of the game that has been played by the monarchy, the government, and the establishment for 58 years needs to be exposed. The lies and corruption must be uncovered for what they are, criminal activity."

He further asserted, "It's not just what happened to me as a child, and what I remember from growing up in England, but it's also what's happened since to myself, my wife, and my children in Australia that supports our argument. These covert and illegitimate activities that are targeted towards us constantly are an attempt to stop us on this journey, nothing more. They will not succeed." Dorante-Day shared that whenever he feels like giving up, three things keep him on track—Winifred, his adopted Grandmother's words, the memories he has of a "voice telling him of the 9 months of hardship,” and his own eyes which bear his pain.

Dorante-Day insists his connection to the royal family isn’t just speculation—it’s a family secret revealed on a deathbed. According to him, his adoptive grandmother, who once worked for Queen Elizabeth II, confessed that Charles and Camilla were his biological parents but had him quietly placed in the care of royal staff. While some argue that the timeline is flawed—he was born in 1966, but Charles and Camilla didn't meet until 1970—Dorante-Day calls these dates inaccurate. Trying to get answers, he allegedly even wrote a letter to the late Queen. As reported by OK! magazine, he was disappointed when she didn't write back.

Following the Queen's death, Dorante-Day feelings of abandonment and frustration only grew, which was worsened by Charles's prolonged silence despite his public claims. As reported by 7News, he argues that, whether it is true or not, the UK government and monarchy must deal with the problem rather than ignore it. He feels that they should help him find the truth about his origins because he was an adopted child and a former state ward. Additionally, Dorante-Day rejected the notion that he is seeking fame or wealth, stating that his battle is about finding solutions rather than pursuing personal benefit.
