King Willem-Alexander Meets With President Of The Senate & Vice President Of The Council Of State — Photos
King Willem-Alexander held some important meetings this week!
"The King is informed by the President of the House of Representatives about the completion of the information phase and the parliamentary debate in which the House of Representatives has appointed Mark Rutte as formateur," a caption read via Instagram. "The King also receives the President of the Senate and the Vice-President of the Council of State at Huis ten Bosch Palace."

The King, who sported a dark coat, was all smiles while talking to Vera Bergkamp, who wore a patterned blazer, dark pants and black heels.
"Today I informed the King about the completion of the information phase and the debate in which Mr. Rutte has been appointed as formateur," a caption read from Bergkamp's Instagram read.
Next up, the royal — who stood six feet apart from others — chatted with Jan Anthonie Bruijn.
The two looked like they had a lot to catch up on!
The King posed for the camera alongside Vice President Thom de Graaf.
Later on, the King made another trip.
"De Koning pays a working visit to Integrated Child Center Triade (IKC) in Aalsmeer. IKC Triade offers primary education, childcare and after-school care in one building. Since the autumn, primary education and childcare have been struggling with an increased number of corona infections among children," a caption read via Instagram. "Due to the corona pandemic, care and education are also faced with a staff shortage, logistical challenges, educational disadvantages and with parents who do not agree with the measures. In group 8, the King speaks with students and the teacher about daily practice in the classroom and how they experience the current phase of the corona pandemic." The message continued, "The board and employees talk about the corona-related challenges, especially for the continuity of education and reception. In the toddler group and at the BSO, the King also talks about how coordination between the BSO and the school takes place, so that young children move on from the toddler group to the nursery group with as few changes as possible."
