King Charles 'Succession' Stunner!: Prince Harry Demanding He Is Given 'What He Deserves' as Monarch Makes 'Plans'
King Charles III is currently battling cancer, and his contingency "succession plans" are said to strongly favor Prince William and his family — not Prince Harry. The plan is reportedly being kept as a highly controlled "secret" regarding Harry and Meghan Markle, since "no one trusts" the Montecito royal rebels.
"Charles is also aware that, as future king, William is at the heart of the succession planning that is taking place right now — officials had assumed Charles would remain healthy at least into his mid-eighties before succession planning would need to begin, but it has now begun and indicates perhaps that Charles' cancer is more dangerous than we have been led to believe," royal author Tom Quinn told a publication.
He continued: "Succession planning is highly secret, and no one trusts Harry to be part of it for the simple reason that if he feels in any way slighted or not given what he feels he deserves, he will run straight to the media. Harry caused a stir when he released Spare, as he hit out at a number of his family members."
Quinn's insights are in direct contrast to recent reports that suggest the fiery-haired prince wishes to return to royal duties in Britain.
Speaking on Good Morning America on Friday, February 16, the fiery-haired prince shared: "I have got many trips planned that will take me through the U.K. or back to the U.K., so I will my family as much as I can."
When asked by one of the hosts to share his outlook on His Majesty's health, the Duke of Sussex replied: "That stays between me and him."
He then majorly broke Buckingham Palace protocol, which prohibits revealing discussions about royal health, by stating: "Look, I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I'm grateful for that. Throughout all these families I see it on a day-to-day basis, again, the strength of the family unit coming together. I think any illness, any sickness, brings families together."
There was no mention of Prince William, who is believed to have made it a point to stay far away from his youngest brother during the February 6, 45-minute reunion between the King and Harry.
Despite hope that the two royal siblings — who were once very close — may reconcile during Harry's recent visit, no such reunion occurred.
"I have a hard time believing if his dad asks for his help Harry would say no, I think he would try," a source close to Harry spilled. "I don't think it's something that Harry would ask [to do] on his own."
Daily Mirror spoke with Quinn.
