Taking the Royal Garbage Out! King Charles Remains 'Resolute' That There Is 'No Way Back' to Public Life for Prince Andrew
King Charles III "had to take the royal trash out" amid the Prince Andrew controversy that is ruining his Sandringham House holidays.
The monarch's courtiers have stepped forward to claim that "Charles found it very difficult" to set a course of action to banish Andrew. "It was the hardest decision, as it’s his brother and he cares for him," they spilled.
"But he knew it was the right thing to do. Someone had to take out the trash," the palace aide added.
Another palace source revealed that the disgraced Duke of York and Sarah Ferguson have been staying since Christmas at Wood Farm Cottage on the Sandringham estate. "Andy was always lurking and ready to pounce, so the King was kept away from his brother," they shared. (The King has been at his Norfolk property since right before Christmas and typically stays until mid-January).
The insider continued: "He is a generous man and not nasty, but he had to be kept apart because he has sympathy for his brother’s situation. There were deliberately no informal one-to-ones, and they didn’t even sit next to each other at meals."
The monarch has been taking the scandal concerning his brother all in during his Sandringham holiday, which has reportedly allowed him to "deeply reflect" on how to handle his sibling vis-a-vis the British public.
His Majesty was advised to urgently distance himself "completely" from Prince Andrew amid the release of new court documents about the disgraced Duke and Jeffrey Epstein.
The advice comes amid the documents showing that an Epstein s-- slave, Jane Doe 3, stated that she was forced to engage in sexual activity with the Duke of York. The papers shared that the underage girl was "forced to have sexual relations with this prince when she was a minor in three separate geographical locations."
The revelations have now pushed the ongoing "Andrew situation" the monarchy has faced for over four years into the "nuclear" territory when it comes to public perception. There are also fresh calls from anti-Crown activists for the King himself to publicly address the dire new evidence.
Numerous royal experts and commentators have also chimed in within the past week to offer similar advice on how to address the Duke of York. "Deciding to bring the disgraced Duke in from the cold was almost entirely against public opinion and much of his own family’s wishes. The King ordered his family to get on board and welcome Andrew back for the odd appearance — a decision that, despite family bonds, is looking increasingly erroneous," royal journalist Russell Myers wrote in a publication.
The Sun reported on the insider revelations.
