A 'Difficult Position': King Charles 'Regrets' Allowing a 'Very Arrogant' Prince Andrew Attend Royal Christmas Service Amid Bombshell New Scandal
King Charles III is said to be having "regrets" from parading Prince Andrew in front of the world during a Christmas Day church service procession.
"The King is in a difficult position in so much as I think he made a mistake at Sandringham," former royal journalist Charles Rae told an outlet.
"That wasn’t an official royal outing, it was a family outing," Rae added when discussing the annual royal family walk to and from St Mary Magdalene Church to Sandringham House on Christmas. "He should have told Andrew not to turn up. I think he may well regret that decision. The King has tried to kick him out of the royal residences before."
He continued: "That has reached a stalemate. The King will try again to oust him from Windsor Lodge. He will still have to have a house, and I suspect it will be Frogmore Cottage, which is Harry and Meghan’s former home."
This insight comes amid the Duke of York's naming within the release of new court documents about the disgraced prince and Jeffrey Epstein.
Some of the papers showed that an Epstein s-- slave, Jane Doe 3, stated that she was forced to engage in sexual activity with the Duke of York. The papers shared that the underage girl was "forced to have sexual relations with this prince when she was a minor in three separate geographical locations."
The revelations have now pushed the ongoing "Andrew situation" the monarchy has faced for over four years into the "nuclear" territory when it comes to public perception. There are also fresh calls from anti-Crown activists for the King himself to publicly address the dire new evidence.
"The King has no option but to completely cut ties with Andrew," a royal insider spilled. "He will forever be tainted by his association with Epstein, and despite his denials of wrongdoing, the constant drip of information about Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell is a stain on the royal family."
"There is no way back for him. Andrew should have no place in public alongside the King or any other member of the royal family," the source added.
But a situation that dire is not likely as the reality will likely find His Majesty pulling the plug on all family appearances for the Duke on a permanent basis.
"Andrew is a very arrogant man and he loves to keep his royal trappings. He has got nothing left apart from riding his horse. The King is going to have to sit down and have a review of Andrew’s future in terms of the royal family. He won’t be kicked out, but he will certainly be curtailed in many ways," Rae concluded.
