King Charles III, who is still battling cancer six months after diagnosis, is said to be "giving it his all" in battling both Prince Andrew and Prince Harry and their various controversies. The Duke of York's refusal to leave the costly Royal Lodge for Harry's former pad at Frogmore Cottage has become "the thorn in His Majesty's side."

Frogmore Cottage has been called 'Harry and Meghan's old pile of s---,' by a palace insider.

This led commentator Lee Cohen to tell GBN's Nana Akua, "Sadly, the King has two massive entitlement problems, the Sussexes and the Duke of York. Does he seriously need these problems amid a massive health crisis? It speaks to his best qualities that Charles is being tolerant to the troublemakers in his family. He has been generous to his brother, supporting him financially. He doesn’t seem to need a larger house."

He added, "It seems the best outcome for the Duke of York would be to move to Frogmore Cottage as proposed. Currently he can’t keep up with the upkeep of Royal Lodge and pay for security."

The monarch, who marks two years on the British throne on September 8, has been accused of "cruelty," by those who support and even those who vehemently despise the disgraced Duke, who was former friends with convicted, deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

King Charles III is reportedly 'pulling the plug' on Prince Andrew's Royal Lodge.

In response to this claim, Cohen observed, "It's not mean to evict Prince Andrew. It protects the monarchy’s integrity and protects it from future damage. It's institutionally ensuring clarity and focus on the roles of the people who are associated with the institution. It aligns privileges with responsibilities and it sets a precedent for accountability by taking a firm stance with Prince Andrew’s residencies."

In pointing out the evolution of the British monarchy right before our eyes, he concluded, "It would communicate that no member — regardless of their birthright — is beyond reproach."

Prince Andrew's Royal Lodge is in need of extensive repairs.

When King Charles acceded to the British throne upon the death of Queen Elizabeth II on September 8, 2022, the new monarch was determined at that time to "downsize the Crown." In addition to cost-cutting measures at his multiple royal residences, the King also saw "a way to make himself appear as if he is scolding the wicked Andrew," a palace insider shared.

The sovereign felt that the ex-working royal, along with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, who has lived in the mansion since 2008, were "wasting resources" in the lavish, 30-room residence. He also reportedly felt that the "jewel in the royal residential portfolio" should go to the Prince and Princess of Wales, who are the next king and queen-in-waiting.

The prince, 64, fell from grace in 2019 when Virginia Giuffre stepped forward to tell the world about her alleged experiences as a victim of s----- abuse by the Duke when she was 17 at an Epstein property.
