Cancer-stricken Kate, Princess of Wales, wants to make summer 2024 a "memorable" one for her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Her Royal Highness, 42, is still in the throes of trying to prevent a mysterious form of cancer from consuming her with preventative chemotherapy treatments.

"The summer is when Kate just wants the kids to be kids and get to be a little freer," a royal insider spilled. "And this summer, more than ever, is going to be all about the kids."

Even though royal sources close to Kensington Palace have suggested the future queen is responding well to the treatments, Kate wants to ensure her kids "have the time of their lives" over the next three months. HRH will not be "returning to work" until she is cleared by her medical team.

"Kate and William have always made the most of their summers with the children," royal scribe Christopher Andersen told an outlet. "[And] Kate has always been athletic; that was one of the reasons William was drawn to her in the first place. She’s always been right in the thick of things when it comes to roughhousing with the kids, participating with them in their games and races."

He added: "She is very competitive and has always thrown herself into all the children’s activities."

The next Queen Consort of Britain underwent a "serious" abdominal surgery on January 16, which led to traces of cancer cells being found allegedly near the area of the procedure. Her Royal Highness has been receiving treatment in the wake of the discovery, which she revealed in an "emotional" video via BBC Studios on March 22.

New reports suggest the Princess of Wales "may never come back" in the role we saw her in for the past 13 years. Kate has not been seen nor participated in any royal appearance or event since Christmas Day 2023.

She was subject to a "bizarre" online trend earlier this year known as "Where's Kate?" in which online commentators and even mainstream media analysts and pundits participated in conspiracy theories about her disappearance from public life.

Kate, Princess of Wales, may not return to royal duties until '2025.'

"The side effects of chemo are bound to make that level of participation more daunting for Kate, but she’s not about to let that spoil the children’s summer," Andersen dished. "Kate doesn’t want them to worry about her — she’s always believed it’s her job to worry about them, and that means keeping George, Charlotte and Louis busy with the sort of things — horseback riding, swimming, having sleepovers with cousins and schoolmates — that they always do during their vacation break."

The author concluded: "Kate is a total trooper... and so this summer at Anmer Hall will be as close to business as usual as she and Prince William can make it."
