In November 2023, Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a video from their Bahamas trip, offering a rare peek into an unforgettable experience they shared. In the video, the two can be seen diving into the sea alongside Coral Vita, the 2021 Earthshot Prize winner. Dressed in scuba gear, they snorkel among the stunning reefs and plant new coral. William chose a rash vest paired with blue swim trunks, while Middleton wore a black wetsuit with cropped sleeves and shorts. However, what caught the attention of fans was not their philanthropic endeavors or the blue waters, rather Middleton's decisions to wear her iconic diamond and sapphire engagement ring on her underwater adventure.

He emphasized the urgency of actively working toward a healthier, more sustainable world, as reported by the Daily Express. He stressed, "What we do in these next 10 years will impact the planet for the next thousand." He added, "Being able to see the good coral and the degraded coral, being able to understand the difference...I think that was really fascinating for me to kind of finally understand."
