Simply stunning! Prince William and Kate Middleton released two new photos on Wednesday, April 28, just one day before the couple will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary.
“10 years 👰♀️🤵♂️,” the caption read, adding that the snapshots were taken by Chris Floyd.
In the first photograph, the couple smiled for the camera. Kate, 39, wore a gorgeous patterned dress, while William, 38, wore a blue sweater and blue pants.
Another photo shows Kate — who shares Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 3 with William — laughing while cuddling up to her husband.
The couple got married at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011.
This past year, families had to learn to adjust to being with their kids more amid the ongoing pandemic — and the royals were no different.
When Kate was asked at a virtual event, “Who has been the greatest support to you during the pandemic?,” she wrote down William’s name.
According to biography Finding Freedom, the pair have “an equal partnership,” and William is “involved in every aspect of raising his three children — including school-drop off and pickup, as well as homework."
Ever since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left the royal family in 2020, Kate and William have been out and about representing the family — and their bond has only strengthened.
“William and Kate have got through 10 years of marriage and royal duties without so much as a moan," royal expert Duncan Larcombe told U.K.'s version of OK! magazine.
"Like any couple, they’ve had their ups and downs, their rows and tensions. But their commitment to the Queen and to this country has been unwavering, and the controversy over Meghan and Harry’s departure from the U.K. has made that even clearer," he added.
Since the pandemic is still prevalent, the duo will most likely have a low-key celebration with their kiddos.
"An anniversary dinner or reception is obviously impossible because of the COVID-19 pandemic. And I don’t think the Queen will bestow any new honours or titles on the couple either," Larcombe said.
