Kate Middleton is on a mission to make the world a better place!
On June 18, the mom-of-three announced a new initiative she will take part in.
"Today I’m proud to be launching The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood — let’s embrace this golden opportunity to create a happier, more mentally healthy and more nurturing society," she wrote on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Twitter account.
"My own journey into understanding the importance of early childhood actually started with adults and not with children," she began. "It was about prevention. I wanted to understand what more we could do to help prevent some of today's toughest social challenges or what more we could to help with the rising rates of poor mental health. I've spoken to physiatrists and neuroscientists, to practitioners and academics and parents alike and what has become clear is that the best investment for our future health and happiness is in the first five years of life."
She continued, "And that is why today I am launching The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, working closely with others, the center hopes to raise awareness of why the first five years of life are just so important for our future life outcomes and what we can do as a society to embrace this golden opportunity to create a happier, more mentally healthy and more nurturing society. By working together, my hope is that we can change the way we think about early childhood and transform lives for generations to come because I truly believe the big change starts small."
Of course, people couldn't help but praise the brunette beauty for her actions. One person wrote, "Brilliant initiative which can create tangible change in society for decades to come — congratulations to all involved and I look forward to seeing all that you deliver," while another added, "This is huge and will help so many people in the future without a doubt! It’s just wonderful!!! Congratulations Your Royal Highness and I’m so ready to follow this new chapter of your Early Years work I’m really proud of you."
A third user said, "These are the words that convey the extent of your experience and dedication to this important issue of our lives and the lives of everyone around you. Thank you for making this happen. Such centers will help future generations in the ease of intellectual and emotional growth."
Just last week, Kate spoke about lending a hand to children last week when she met with First Lady Dr. Jill Biden.
"I'm really interested in how we can best prepare the next generation to become parents themselves. So, actually the focus isn't on parenting itself, but actually how can we give them the tools so they are having their babies and raising their children with these greater tools," she said.
