Kate Middleton 'Feels Betrayed' by Prince Harry and 'Wants Nothing to do With Him'
Although Prince Harry reached out to King Charles III amid His Majesty's cancer struggle, Kate, Princess of Wales, has no interest in seeing or talking to her brother-in-law during her own health battle.
"I think there was once a relationship, a friendship, a very close one between Harry and Kate," royal scribe Christopher Andersen dished. "I'm sure he’s concerned about her as well, but I know that she wants to have nothing to do with them."
Her Royal Highness "still feels betrayed" by the fifth in line to the throne, just as the King, and "especially" her husband, Prince William, do. Andersen says "that hasn't changed" one bit, even with the future queen's "scary" abdominal operation on January 16, and the reigning monarch's cancer diagnosis on February 5.
The Duke of Sussex visited his father the day after the news of his illness broke, but "went nowhere near" the Prince and Princess of Wales during his 24-hour trip to Britain. It was also suggested by an anonymous royal courtier that Queen Camilla "wanted nothing at all to do with" Harry during his visit.
"Every time he’s gone there, he’s been given the cold shoulder, and he’s aware of that," the author continued. "I think he fears it’ll just be the same situation all over."
Andersen also pointed out how the feud between the former "fab four" of millennial royals, which also included his wife, Meghan Markle, seems to be unending "My understanding is he hasn’t, and it is a stalemate," he observed when asked if Harry has tried to reach out to Kate. "They’re both on opposite sides of this wall and nobody has the courage to leap over it and really make an honest attempt."
This insight comes after it was reported last November that the Princess of Wales "cornered" and "told off" her brother-in-law just a mere few hours before Queen Elizabeth II's funeral on September 19, 2022.
"Kate knew this was the only time she could talk to Harry before he closed himself off from the family again," an onlooker spilled. " After all, with so much going on between them, there was going to be zero chance at the actual ceremony."
"Kate never thought in a million years that Harry would hurt his own family this. Harry and Kate were once so tight, and she can't forget that. It feels like she also lost a brother in all this mess, and she wanted to ask Harry one very simple question, 'Why did you betray us?,'" the insider added.
Kate's bold confrontation with her brother-in-law also took place three months before Harry and Meghan Markle's Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan, both criticized and mocked the monarchy.
The New York Post reported on Andersen's comments.
