Catherine, Princess of Wales, has "always had a soft spot" for her brother-in-law, Prince Harry, and new reports claim the future queen is "working hard" to reunite Harry with Prince William.

HRH is also reportedly "hoping" the Duke's "professional split" from Meghan Markle could bring him to Britain for Christmas.

Kate Middleton is often seen as a mediator within the royal family.

"Kate’s got her finger on the pulse of the royal family, and she feels strongly this is Harry’s last chance to make amends and get back into the fold before it’s too late," an insider told an outlet.

They added, "She’s staying true to her word and refusing to give up on him but, at the same time, she’s making it clear he needs to make more of a concerted effort. The fact that Harry’s been doing his own thing lately, instead of being joined at the hip with Meghan, has scored points with his family and Kate is seeing this as the perfect opportunity for him to strike while the iron’s hot."

For many, Kate truly has royalty's ancient "healing touch" thanks to her reported "selfless" act of reaching out to the California Duke on his 40th birthday, September 15. This is despite the rebel Duke "disparaging her character" more than once in his explosive 2023 memoir, Spare.

Reports show that Her Royal Highness called the "homesick" prince on his big day before playing a major role in ensuring he received official palace congratulations.

Kate Middleton allegedly 'despises' Meghan Markle and her 'hypnotic hold' on Prince Harry.

Her Royal Highness wants Harry to do the "right thing and take this opportunity while he still has it."

They concluded, "Despite all his faults, she still sees him as a little brother and she’s willing to forgive him. But if he wants his brother and father to forgive him, he'll need to do more."

The Princess of Wales likes to 'relax like anyone else' while at one of her three homes.

Another insider source spilled that Catherine "slowly makes good on her vow to restore some kind of peace and forgiveness between the estranged royal and his family before it's too late."

Sources near Team Sussex in Montecito, Calif., also shared how the fifth in line to the British throne appreciated his semi-estranged sister-in-law's efforts with the message.

The royal source added, "She (Kate) told William in no uncertain terms that this is not the time for resentment, they needed to show the world that love and family are front and center of their values, but more importantly she wanted Harry to have this message on his big day."

But getting the heir to the throne on board with the world seeing his office sending his estranged brother a message of congrats on his behalf "was hard work."
